St. James' Fiesta 2009 On July 25, 2010, St. James' Church held its celebration of the feast of their patron
saint. The Holy Eucharist service started at 3:30 PM. Following the service, there were a festive dinner and
fellowship dancing at the parish hall.

Parish NewsOn April 11, 2009, the three PIC congregations in Illinois celebrated the Easter Vigil
at St. Luke’s Church in Bloomingdale, Illinois. Bishop Val Lorejo will be the presider and preacher.
In celebration of Good Friday on April 10, 2009, representatives
from three PIC congregations in Illinois had given reflections on the Seven Last Words of Christ. The service also included
receiving the Holy Communion from the Reserved Sacrament and Veneration of the Cross. The service was held at St. Luke’s
Church in Bloomingdale.
On
January 18, 2009, St. James Church celebrated the Feast of Señor Santo Niño. The celebration started at 5 PM
with novena, procession, Holy Mass, Sinulog and then followed by dinner and dance in the parish hall.
The
three PIC congregations in Illinois held a joint Christmas party on Dec. 27, 2008, Saturday at Lone Tree Manor in Niles. Members
and friends of the three churches shared joy and laughter in the party with Christmas carols, dinner, special presentations,
fun games for adults and children, Santa Claus' gift-giving to children, music and dance.
Carrlanden, the
first child of Allan and Grace Else, was received into the household of God on December 13, 2008. He was
baptzed by Bishop Val Lorejo at St. James' Church. Reception was held at Lone Tree Manor in Niles, Illinois.
St. James' Church is conducting a novena to Sto. Niño at members' residence once a month. For more information about

Donate School SuppliesThe KABALIKAT group is collecting school supplies, educational toys, used clothing
for children, and monetary donations for poor students in elementary grades in the Philippines. All donations will be forwarded
to VIMROD (Visayas Mindanao Regional Office for Development) who will take care of its distribution to the needy
