We gather every Sunday afternoon at St. John's
Episcopal Church, located at 3857 N. Kostner Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60641.
IFI RELIEF FUND
In response to the appeal of the Diocese of Rizal and Pampanga, St. Augustine’s
Parish, PIC in Chicago has sent financial assistance to support the work of the diocese in providing the immediate needs
of the victims of typhoons Ondoy and Peping, and for long term rehabilitations in affected areas.
With faith, hope and love, PIC members in diaspora have expressed their
concern and support, and have been constantly praying for all the victims of calamities and natural disasters in the Philippines
and in other parts of the world and for those who provide them with life-saving assistance.
Christmas Day Service
The parish will celebrate Christmas Day service on Dec. 25, Friday at St. John’s Episcopal Church
in Chicago. Fr Peter Varquez will be the guest preacher. After the Holy Eucharist service, there will be potluck at the parish
hall. There will be fun and games for the children.
Christmas Caroling
Members of St. Augustine’s will be visiting
friends to bring the spirit of Christmas to their houses by singing Christmas carols, and by offering thanksgiving prayers.
Thanksgiving Day Service
On November 26, 2009, the Rev. Fr. Jojo Pamatmat was the guest preach at St. John’s Episcopal
Church in Chicago at their Thanksgiving Day service. The Holy Eucharist started at 11 AM, and then followed by community meal
at the parish hall.
Lay Preaching Class
Sessions
Classes are being held for lay preachers of St. Augustine’s
Parish once a month. It is being held at members’ residence and other meeting places. Those who want to attend

St. Augustine’s Fiesta
On August 30, 2009, St. Augustine’s celebrated
its 15th year foundation anniversary and the feast of its patron saint. The Rev. Fr. Jojo Pamatmat was installed as the new
rector of the parish.

Anniversary
On August 3, 2009, the
Iglesia Filipina Independiente celebrated its 107th proclamation anniversary.
Potluck Every Third Sunday
On every third Sunday of the month, there will be potluck dinner at the parish hall after the worship service.
