The Diocesan Council is the governing body of the diocese. The Council assists the Diocesan Bishop in making and implementing plans, carrying out projects, and conducting different activities for the welfare of the diocese. It consists of five priests, two laymen, two laywomen, and two youths. The diocesan bishop is the ex-officio chairman or presiding officer of the Council.
